1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Wondermates mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Wondermates ("we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use Wondermates:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You must not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
• You must not have a previously terminated Wondermates account due to policy violations.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To use most features of Wondermates, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate.
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. User Conduct

By using Wondermates, you agree to treat all users with respect. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or harm any other user.
• Post or share content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use fake photos, false identity, or misleading profile information.
• Solicit money, financial information, or other valuables from other users.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Post content that infringes upon any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Exploit or harm minors in any way.
• Facilitate or organise illegal activities through the platform.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.

5. Content Ownership & Licence

Your content: You retain ownership of all content you post, submit, or share on Wondermates ("User Content"), including profile photos, trip descriptions, and chat messages. By posting User Content, you grant Wondermates a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

Our content: All other content on the Service — including our logo, design, software, text, and features — is owned by or licensed to Wondermates and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

Content standards: You represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, contains no malware or harmful code, and complies with all applicable laws.

Removal: We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or its users.

6. Verification & Safety

Wondermates offers a selfie verification badge. While this badge indicates that a user has completed our verification process at the time of verification, it does not guarantee the ongoing authenticity or intentions of any user. Meeting other users — whether online or in person — is at your own risk.

We strongly encourage users to exercise caution when meeting anyone from the internet:

• Meet in public places.
• Tell a friend or family member where you are going.
• Trust your instincts.
• Report any suspicious behaviour using the in-app report feature.

Wondermates is not responsible for the conduct of users outside of the platform.

7. Subscription Terms (Wondermates Pro)

Wondermates offers an optional paid subscription called Wondermates Pro. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Billing: subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). Your payment method will be charged at the start of each billing period.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will continue to have Pro access until then.
• Refunds: we generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Refunds may be issued at our discretion or as required by law. For App Store purchases, Apple's refund policy applies; for Google Play, Google's policy applies.
• Price changes: we may change subscription prices. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
• Free trials: if we offer a free trial, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be available at all times or error-free.
• User profiles are accurate or users will behave as expected.
• Matches will result in safe, positive, or successful experiences.
• The Service is free from viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WONDERMATES AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the Service.
• Any conduct or content of third-party users.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
• Any other matter relating to the Service.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wondermates and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your User Content.
• Your interaction with any other user.
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

11. Termination

By you: you may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app settings or contacting us at rishabhdubey@gmail.com.

By us: we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

• You violate any of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• We are required to do so by law.
• Continued operation of your account poses a risk to other users or the platform.
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION].

If you are an EEA consumer, you may also have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and by sending an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wondermates regarding the Service.
• Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• Waiver: failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
